CHECK-OUT AND REAPPLICATION

What's next in your residential journey?

The halls remain open for Thanksgiving, Winter, and Spring breaks. Unless your contract is ending, you do not need to follow check-out procedures for Thanksgiving, Winter, and Spring breaks.

If your time living in University Housing is nearing its end, there are important steps to take to avoid charges and fees and to leave your room ready to prepare for the next Warhawk resident(s). Head to our Check-Out Procedure section to learn more.

If you’re needing to stay in your residence beyond your final day of exams and into the summer, learn more about our Summer Housing options.

If you’re interested in renewing your housing contract and remaining a University Housing resident during the next academic year, check out our Housing Reapplication information.

Students will be notified by their university e-mail account as to what day, time and how they select a suite/pod. Students that submit an application for Pulliam or Ma’iingan but were not granted their first preferred living option will be eligible for the next on-campus living option that they have ranked on their online application if indicated.

  • Students that are current first year students looking to live off-campus/or at home should submit a housing exemption with documentation as soon as possible. Students looking to live in Pulliam, and/or Ma’iingan should match up in a group of four students. Online application and contract process
University Housing applications are 100% online! Log into MyHousing Portal to start the Housing application process.

Standard hall selection and process
Students looking to simply move buildings from one double room to another double room will apply in the portal.

Pulliam and Ma’iingan applications
Students who desire to live in Pulliam Hall and/or Ma’iingan Hall will be asked to match with roommates prior to selection. Only groups of four will be accepted. If you need to find additional roommates, we recommend that students look at the “Class of” Facebook pages to find others to join. All group members must complete an application to be considered prior to the deadline. Approval is based on several factors that are determined by University Housing.

Single room applications
Due to the expected demand for on-campus housing, single rooms will not be offered at this time during the reapplication process.

Each year, we host two roommate mixers to help students connect and find a great roommate match for the next academic year. While these events are especially helpful for residents looking to form groups of four for Pulliam or Ma’iingan housing applications, they are open to any student who wants to meet potential roommates and build connections.
