The Center for Global Education, located on the second floor of McCutchan Hall on the Whitewater campus, is committed to student success. Our study abroad programs offer an academically enriching experience, and we are excited to welcome international students to our campus. We'll help you get to campus, thrive on campus, and leave campus in a better place than when you started.
SCHOLARSHIPS AND GRANTS
UW-Whitewater students have a great history of earning scholarships specifically for study abroad purposes. One such scholarship is the Gilman scholarship, which awards up to $5,000 (or $8,000 for students studying critical need languages) for undergraduate Pell Grant recipients studying or interning abroad for four weeks or more.
UW-Whitewater has a strong tradition of participation in Fulbright Programs. Research and Sponsored Programs provides support to UW-Whitewater faculty and staff applying for a Fulbright award, while the Center for Global Education provides support for campus units seeking to sponsor/host a Fulbright Scholar.
If you’re an international student, we award different scholarships to freshmen and transfer students.
