If you have never attended a college or university, regardless of age, you would be considered a freshman applicant. You can find application information for freshman applicants at University Admissions.
Even though UW-Whitewater operates on a rolling admission basis, the university reserves the right to stop accepting applications when it believes their enrollment capacities for the campus can be satisfied by the number of students already admitted. It is always recommended that students apply for admission early, and fall applications are preferred.
Students interested in fall enrollment must have applied by May 1 and be admitted by August 1. However, to be eligible for academic scholarships, students must have a completed application in by January 1. Those students seeking spring enrollment must apply by December 1.
