Application Information

There are several application paths an online bachelor's student might take including as transfer, reentry, freshman, or second-degree seeking applicants. For more information on each path, click on the links below.

• Transfer applicants are students that have attended another college or university (including having earned an associate’s degree) but have never attended UW-Whitewater.
• Reentry applicants are students that have previously attended UW-Whitewater.
• Freshman applicants are students that have never attended a college or university.
• Second-Degree seeking applicants are students who have already earned a bachelor's degree and would like to pursue another.

Important Application Note:

When completing the UW System E-Application, you will be prompted to select a major. Be sure to select your major of choice with the designation “Online” (e.g., General Business Online [COBE] Field of Study). If you plan to major in Economics, the Economics Online major is listed under “Social Sciences” on the UW E-Application. All other online majors are listed under “Business.”
