September Acentra Workshop Flyer

Being a supportive parent to a teenager today comes with unprecedented challenges, as well as new ways to engage and empower our soon to be adults. In this session, participants will address the risky behaviors that teens are currently engaging in, as well as acknowledge the progress teens have made from previous generations. Together, we will review the essential facts of at-risk behavior and provide a safe space for parents to share their current fears and struggles. Resources for further support and how to identify at-risk behavior in our teenage children will be provided to all participants.

U Matter Resources and Updates

Third Stop of the U Matter Wagon!

On Thursday June 6th, FP&M presented ITS with the U Matter Wagon!

FP&M noted:

ITS is a key partner with just about every department on campus to ensure technology is utilized efficiently to provide a productive work and learning environment. There is a symbolic relationship between FP&M and ITS. ITS's technology requires electrical power and resides in campus facilities that FP&M maintains and renovates. FP&M's computerized tools and tracking systems require ITS's assistance/coordination in order to function. The recent ITS organizational changes have knocked down procedural barriers that dramatically improved FP&M's ability and ease in coordination when it comes to planning joint project work that involed technology. The IT Service department is very easy and enjoyable to work with!

Thank you ITS for all of your efforts on campus, U Matter and we appreciate you!

In the wagon that FP&M presented to ITS was a traveling trophy, check it out!

U Matter Toolkit

The U Matter Toolkit includes resources such as NAN card templates, Purpose Statement templates, an Organizational Assessment along with sample scripts for table top exercises, articles by Zach Mercurio and links to his last two presentations. These resources can be used separately or all together, however you choose to continue the U Matter messaging within your work groups/departments. If you would like help putting something together please reach out to worksitewellness@uww.edu and we will be happy to partner with you to create a workshop or presentation geared to your area. If you host an event, please share highlights and pictures that we can share in the newsletter and on the Worksite Wellness webite.
