This unique program places Edgewood College’s nursing program in Rock County, complete with a full faculty, clinical coordination expertise, and an innovative curriculum that integrates classroom instruction with hands-on clinical and simulation experiences.
First, complete your Associate of Arts and Sciences with a pre-nursing emphasis at UW-Whitewater at Rock County. Then, you are eligible for priority admission into Edgewood College’s School of Nursing, Rock County campus location.

Hands-on learning experiences
This intensive, hands-on program equips students to be capable and self-sufficient nurses.
Your education will be founded on theory and applied in an array of experiential learning settings. Our small class sizes allow for engaging teaching styles that promote active student learning. With one of the best clinical student to faculty ratios in the nation, at 7:1, and clinical experiences at highly respected regional hospitals, the learning experience you will receive is exceptional.
Upon completion of this program, you will be armed with the ability to practice holistic nursing care in a variety of settings. Fulfill your desire to begin a rewarding career in the nation’s largest health care profession.
Graduate and professional school
Students can complete a full bachelor of nursing degree on the Rock county campus and are then eligible for direct admission into Edgewood College’s Master of Science in Nursing programs.
