Universities of Wisconsin Board of Regents at UW-Whitewater

On Dec. 4-5, 2025, UW-Whitewater will host the UW Board of Regents meetings. This website includes registration, lodging, parking, and information about the Whitewater area.

Welcome from Chancellor King

Chancellor Corey King speaks at a podium with the American flag in the background.

Good day Regents and guests,

Welcome to the university that is Warhawk Bold!

Home to more than 12,000 students, UW-Whitewater’s mission is to transform lives. We’re proud to be named by The Wall Street Journal as Wisconsin’s top public university for student experience.

As the state’s largest business school and the top producer of licensed teachers, we are working for Wisconsin’s future. At our Rock County location which houses our College of Integrated Studies, faculty in our new Mercyhealth Medical Sciences Hub are training the next generation of healthcare leaders, from nurses to medical imaging professionals.

Our championship culture permeates the university, from our national champion Warhawk baseball team, to our exceptional Enactus student organization, which recently represented Team USA in a global competition to use business practices for the greater good.

Warhawks added to their record setting ways by winning a 20th Gaarder Award, the statewide honor for music excellence. And our chemistry faculty and students recently landed a U.S. patent for their work in biotechnology.

We thrive with our core values: learning and academic excellence, collaboration, inclusivity and opportunity, integrity, service and social responsibility, and shared governance.

While you are in town, I encourage you to explore the area. December is a great time to visit. If you are looking for ideas, check out our YouTube playlist featuring some local businesses that partner with — and have strong connections to — the university.

We look forward to your visit,

Go Warhawks!
Corey A. King, Ed.D.
