First Warhawks in Flight
Fall 2024 Learning Communities
First Warhawks in Flight (First-Generation College Students) Learning Community.
This learning community is designed for first-year students who consider themselves to be first-generation college students. Students in this learning community will reflect on their personal motivation for attending college, explore their career(s) of interest, analyze experiences they need to gather while attending college to be successful upon graduation, and gain an understanding of processes that confuse many first year students (e.g., financial aid, advising, registration, etc.). Students will also have the opportunity to make connections with faculty and staff in their areas of interest and learn from the experiences of other first-generation college students.
