The University of Wisconsin-Whitewater College of Education and Professional Studies Future Teacher Program (FTP), is a residential learning community developed to assist multicultural/minority students who are interested in becoming Future Teachers as well as students interested in teaching in high-need areas; Biology, Chemistry, Spanish, Math, Special Education, ESL/Bilingual/Bicultural, Library Media, and Early Childhood (males). FTP is a invite-only group, accepting students through an application process. FTP provides a one-week summer program, allowing students the opportunity to engage in mentoring and involvement in important campus programs during the critical freshman and sophomore years.
Who can I live with if I join this Learning Community?
- You can live with anyone in a Learning Community living in Knilans Hall, including students who are in other LCs in Knilans Hall.
Available For:
- Students who apply and are admitted to the FTP program.
