Meetings

The Academic Staff Assembly meets twice monthly from 12:30 to 1:45 p.m. (September through May), when school is in session, as well as once in June and once in August each year. When possible, meetings will be held in a hybrid manner, with participation available in person and through WebEx. In inclement weather or other special conditions, meetings may be virtual only, and notice will be posted here. Additional meetings may be called under circumstances prescribed in the by-laws.

To join a meeting, follow the Webex link provided for each individual meeting date. ASA is committed to making all meetings and documents as accessible as possible. All meetings of the Assembly shall be open. All meetings will be announced in advance, including being posted in the UW-Whitewater Master Calendar. 

Meeting agendas will be posted and distributed to assembly members at least 2 working days prior to each meeting. Any member of the academic staff may submit an item to the chair for inclusion on the agenda.

Minutes of each meeting of the Assembly will be posted here no later than 2 working days prior to the next meeting.

As we update our website, historical minutes and agendas have been temporarily removed. For copies of 2020-2024 minutes, contact us at  acadstaff@uww.edu. For copies of minutes from earlier than July of 2020, contact University Archives at archives@uww.edu or by calling 262-472-5520.
