Chancellor’s Committee on LGBTQ+ Inclusive Excellence

About the Chancellor's Committee on LGBTQ+ Inclusive Excellence
The Mission of the Chancellor’s Committee on LGBTQ+ Inclusive Excellence is to serve as an advisory body on Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, and Queer* (LGBTQ+) faculty, staff, and student belonging at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. As a Chancellor’s committee, we specifically advise the UW-W Chancellor’s office on key LGBTQ+ inclusion initiatives at our shared institution. The committee includes membership from across campus divisions, intentionally forging cross-campus connections to challenge the siloing of LGBTQ+ student, faculty, and staff support. To ensure LGBTQ+ belonging at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, our committee monitors various concerns related to LGBTQ+ bias. We offer outreach and support to foster LGBTQ+ student, faculty, and staff success at UW-W and bolster efforts to build a more inclusive campus and shared community.
