Catering (Policy #1211)

University Center Executive Director

The university dining contract states the University’s intentions to acquire the dining services exclusively from the contractor. These services include catering however, there are exemptions. These exemptions include:

• University Dining waives the requirements to use University Dining Services for student groups in the University Center and Esker Hall with less than $200.00 in retail value of food and beverages. The retail value is the regular price of the food with the vendor(s) from whom the food is acquired.
• University Dining waives the requirements to use University Dining Services for student group events in residence halls of fewer than one hundred people and less than $500.00 in retail value of food and beverages. The retail value is the regular price of the food with the vendor(s) from whom the food is acquired.

Groups violating this policy may face sanctions, up to and including being barred from use of University Center and Esker Hall meeting room facilities.
