MSG Jeffery Campbell

Master Sergeant (MSG) Jeffery L. Campbell is a native of Woodbury, Georgia. On February 29^, 2000, he enlisted in the Army and attended Basic training and AIT as an Advanced Field Artillery Tactical Data System Specialist at Fort Sill, Oklahoma.

 MSG Campbell has served in various assignments stateside and overseas including the Advanced Field Artillery Tactical Data System Specialist (AFATDS Operator) in Bravo Battery, 3rd Battalion, 16^th  Field Artillery at Fort Hood, TX; Chief of Computer operator in Bravo Battery, 2^nd  Battalion, 17^th Field Artillery at Camp Hovey, Korea; Section Chief in Alpha Battery, 1^st  Battalion, 10^th Field Artillery at Fort Benning, Georgia, where he deployed to Bagdad in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom I 05-06; Trainer Mentor (TM) in 2^nd Battalion (TS), 305th Field Artillery Regiment at Camp Shelby, Mississippi; Battalion Fire Control NCO in 1^st Battalion, 320^th Field Artillery Regiment at Fort Campbell, Kentucky where he deployed to Kandahar, Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom 10-11. He also deployed as the NCOIC of the Security Force Assistance Advisor Team ( SFAAT) in 2012; Observer Coach/ Trainer (OC/T) in  2^nd Battalion (TS), 315^th Field Artillery Regiment at Fort Dix, New Jersey; Senior(13D) OC/T in 3^rd Battalion, 314^th Field Artillery Regiment at Fort Dix, New Jersey; Fire Control Element (FCE) NCOIC, Digital Master Gunner, S2 NCOIC in 25^th Infantry Division Artillery at Schofield Barracks, Hawaii; 1SG Charlie Battery, 2^nd Battalion, 11^th Field Artillery Regiment Schofield Barracks, Hawaii; and currently serving as the Senior Military Science Instructor for the University of Wisconsin-Madison Army Reserve Officer Training Corps (ROTC).

 MSG Campbell’s military education includes the following NCOES schools: Warrior Leaders Course (WLC), Advanced Leaders Course (ALC), Senior Leaders Course (SLC), and the Senior ROTC Instructor Course. MSG Campbell is also a graduate of Battle Staff, Commander/ First Sergeant Leaders Course, Combatives Level 1.

 MSG Campbell’s awards and decorations include the Bronze Star, Meritorious Service Medal (2OLC), Army Commendation Medal (4OLC), Army Achievement Medal (4OLC), Valorous Unit Award, Army Good Conduct Medal (5th Award), National Defense Service Medal (1^st  Award), Iraq Campaign Medal (w/1 Campaign Star), Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal, Afghanistan Campaign Medal (w/1Campaign Star), Korean Defense Service Ribbon, Military Outstanding Volunteer Service Medal, Non Commissioned Officer Professional Development Ribbon(3) Army Service Ribbon, Overseas Service Ribbon (2), NATO Medal, Certificate of Achievement (4), Combat Action Badge, Saint Barber Award, Sergeant Audie Murphy Award, Major General Aubrey “Red” Newman Award.

 MSG Campbell is married to the former Sabrina A.Young and they have a son, Micah- Anthony J’Noah Campbell.
