I hold a Ph.D. from the University of Minnesota in Educational Policy & Administration with an emphasis in Evaluation Studies/Program Evaluation; a Master's of Science in Education from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater with an emphasis in Business & Marketing Education; and a Bachelor of Science in Journalism from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh.

My current scholarship focuses around two avenues of work core to my teaching philosophy and practice: improving the design and delivery of online courses as well as topics that build the capacity of business educators to use research-based approaches to teaching. My work has been published in New Directions for Evaluation, Journal for Research in Business Education, Journal of Adolescent Health, Evaluation and Program Planning, and the National Business Education Forum.
