Upcoming Events in Academic Affairs:
- Warhawks Success Conference, Friday, February 14, 2025. This conference is open to all UW-Whitewater staff and faculty and provides oppotunities to learn strategies that support student success and increase cross-campus relationships and collaborations. Sign up for the Warhawks Success Conference
- 2025 Celebrating Teaching and Learning Conference, May 21, 2025. This in-person conference held in the University Center invites staff and faculty to make connections and identify new strategies to promote student learning and success through a shared exploration of innovative teaching practices and research taking place across the university.
Instructional Promotions: Faculty and Instructional Academic Staff promotion increases for changes in rank approved during the 2024-2025 review processes are shown below:
- Faculty
- Assistant Professor to Associate Professor: $5,190 increase to base salary
- Associate Professor to Full Professor: $6,980 increase to base salary
- Instructional Academic Staff
- Lecturer 1 to Lecturer 2: 2% increase to base salary
- Lecturer 2 to Senior Lecturer: 2% increase to base salary
- Senior Lecturer to Distinguished Lecturer: 4% increase to base salary
Base salary increases resulting from faculty and instructional academic staff promotions will be effective at the start of the 2025-2026 academic year. The base salary for the adjustment is the individual's base salary at the end of the 2024-2025 academic year.

Employee Tuition/Fee Reimbursement: UW-Whitewater offers support for employee's continued education through the Employee Tuition Reimbursement Policy. Eligible employees can participate, once they are enrolled in the course and at least five days before the start of the term, by submitting the Employee Tuition/Fees Reimbursement Form for approval before the term begins. After successful completion of the course, the employee will be reimbursed for the tuition and fees. For additional questions, please review this helpful FAQ document.
