What to Expect at Warhawks SOAR

- Know your WINS log-in and password. You’ll be logging into your account to enroll in classes at SOAR.
- If your password does not work. You may try to reset your password prior to your SOAR day.
- Connecting to WiFi. Students should use “Eduroam” for best connection. You will need to know your UWW email (your NetID followed by @uww.edu) and your updated password. If you have never used your NetID login, you must create a new password. Guests will be able to use UWW’s Guest WiFi network.
- Enroll in Multi-factor authentication (MFA) with Duo for added protection for your account. Follow the steps at Getting Started with MFA with Duo. Students not already enrolled in MFA with Duo may be prompted to self-enroll when logging into any UWW Net-ID-protected system. Need help? Email helpdesk@uww.edu.
- Pre-Enrollment Checklist (Terms and Conditions) must be agreed to, otherwise you will not be able to register for courses. Steps on how to complete agreement can be located here.
- Need to change your major, minor, or degree track? Complete this online form prior to two business days of your SOAR date. If it is within two days of your SOAR date, please wait and update your information during SOAR Check-In.
- Parking: Free parking is available during SOAR in Lot 7, located by the Visitor Center on Starin Road. Follow the "Warhawks SOAR" signs on campus to guide you. If using GPS, select the UWW Visitor Center (826 W. Starin Rd., Whitewater, WI, 53190). To register for a vehicle for SOAR parking, review step 10 of your SOAR registration in WINS.
- Check-in: The multi-step check-in process for Warhawks SOAR is between 8:00-9:00 a.m. in the University Center (UC). Once you have parked, follow the "Warhawks SOAR" signs to the UC. The first session begins at 9:00 a.m. and check-in is required, so please be sure to allow enough time.
- SOAR Schedule: The SOAR program begins promptly at 9:00 a.m. Much of the day will be experienced in two distinct schedules where students are separated from guests beginning mid-day. You will have the opportunity to experience the Campus Resource Fair at the end of the day together, where you'll be able to talk with campus departments on an individual basis. The program will conclude around 4:00pm. Attendance at the entire program is required in order to register for classes.
- Please note lunch is provided. Guests and students will have separate lunch periods as students will dine with their Hawk Squad groups.
