Annual Tenure-Line Tracking & Recommendations
Policy
The Provost’s Office has committed to presenting to the Faculty Senate each December a spreadsheet comparing budgeted tenure lines to the FTE recorded from the Human Resources Office within each college and department (with manual corrections for oddities). See spreadsheet from December 2021 as an example.
The Faculty Senate can, if they wish, transmit to the Provost during each spring semester guidance on tenure line changes for the upcoming year and that guidance will be integrated into the personnel planning that occurs with Department Chairs and Deans.
