Described as “seductive and darling” Contralto Emily Triebold is sought after for her interpretations of a range of well-known modern and lyric roles. Ms. Triebold has recently been seen on stage with Nashville Opera as Giovanna - Rigoletto and Pensacola Opera as Buttercup - H.M.S. Pinafore.

Ms. Triebold has participated in Young Artist Programs with the Glimmerglass Festival, Opera Saratoga, Nashville Opera, Pensacola Opera, and Des Moines Metro Opera. Roles at these companies include Old Woman (cover)-Candide, Sorcerer (cover)-Rinaldo, Minskwoman (cover)-Flight, and Mrs. Splinters - The Tender Land.

She has appeared on the concert stage in Mendelssohn’s Midsummer Night’s Dream with the New York City Ballet, Vaughn Williams’ Serenade to Music at Carnegie Hall, featured soloist in an Evening with Anthony Roth Costanzo with the Glimmerglass Festival, and returned for a second season with the Brooklyn Art Song Society for the American Premiere of Charlotte Bray’s The Earth Cried Out to the Sky. Ms. Triebold will be making her Duluth Superior Symphony Orchestra debut this fall as the alto soloist in Bruckner’s Te Deum.

Ms. Triebold holds degrees in Vocal Performance from University of Wisconsin-Whitewater and University of Nebraska. In her free time she enjoys running, reading, embroidering, spending time with her family, and adventuring with her husband Adam.
