Initial residency determinations for tuition purposes at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater are made by the Admissions Office, based on the provisions of <a href="documents/admissions/nonresident/EXTRACT%20FROM%20SECTION%2036-2019.pdf" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Wisconsin Statutes 36.27(2)</a>, which govern residency status for tuition purposes.
