How to apply to scholarships
<p>A detailed email including the requirements and process of the review will be sent to all Department of Art and Design students each year.</p>
<p><strong>APPLICATION INFORMATION</strong><br />Interested students should submit the following by the specified deadline to <a href="mailto:artscholarship@uww.edu">artscholarship@uww.edu</a> to be considered for scholarships: </p>
<ul>
<li>AAR (Academic Advising Report) in PDF file format.</li>
<li>Artist Statement (Word doc) Submit a brief artist statement of potential for success in the area of chosen major. (1-2 pages, Times New Roman Font, 12 point). </li>
<li>Digital Portfolio of 5-7 artworks (Word doc, Letter Size)</li>
<li>Numbered Image list with the title (Class, Title of project, Size, media, and year completed). (Example: 1. Painting1_Untitled_16x20_Oil_F2019)
<ul>
<li>Please place one image under the title per page.</li>
<li>Each Image (JPEG file format) should not exceed 1000 pixels width either height or width (no bigger than 7 inches width).</li>
<li>Three-dimensional work may require multiple views. No more than 3 images per project may be submitted for each three-dimensional artwork or multiple-page publication projects. If all work is three-dimensional, then a total of 21 images may be submitted. </li>

<p>Only students returning as full-time students (minimum 12 credits each semester) for the next academic year will be considered for scholarships. Students who do not complete and submit applications to the Art and Design office by the deadline will not be allowed to participate in the Scholarship Review. All the faculty in the department will review your work and make recommendations to the Scholarship Committee. The Scholarship Committee will then make the final decision and award scholarships. If you receive a scholarship, you will be required to participate in the scheduled college/department scholarship events in the College Scholarship Celebration in the fall.</p>
